Privacy policy

This policy explains, in plain words, what DocsTo ("we") collects when you use DocsTo, and what you can do about it.

Who is responsible

DocsTo runs DocsTo and is the "controller" of your personal data — we decide how it is used, as described here. We use it to provide the service you signed up for, keep it secure, and meet legal duties.

What we collect

• Account info: your email, and your name if you sign in with Google.
• Your pages: the Google link you paste, the page name, and the look you choose.
• Your Google file's contents: we read them only when a page is shown. We don't keep a copy and never change your file.
• AI requests: what you ask the assistant and your column names are sent to our AI provider to create a new look. We don't send your spreadsheet's data.
• Billing: handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, which processes your payment, subscription, tax and invoices. We never see your full card number.
• Cookies: see our cookie policy.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or share your personal information for advertising.
• We don't ask for access to your Google account.

Who helps us

We use trusted service providers for hosting and database, sign-in, AI styling, and payments (Paddle.com as Merchant of Record). We may also share data with professional advisers, or with authorities when the law requires it. Service providers may only use your data to provide their service to us.

Children

DocsTo is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has signed up, tell us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Wherever you live in the US, you can ask us to see, fix, or delete your data, or opt out of any sale or sharing. Use our data request form. We reply within 30 days and won't treat you differently for asking.

Keeping data

We keep your account while it's open. When you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep (like billing records).
